The Bloc program seems to fit most of my needs but what I'm afraid is that it seems more focused on UI than UX. They really don't mention user research in the class syllabus which has me a bit worried that I won't learn much a

Think of it as an applied CS BS in a year. The program was wound down to a 6 mo program to make it more profitable. They cut a lot of CS curriculum sadly. I’ve learned everything from VM/Compilers to Data Structures/Algos.

I've been doing the Software Engineering track for about 9 weeks, and the experience so far has been phenomenal. The only real warnings I have before you commit to the program are endemic to any/all coding bootcamps, not unique to Bloc: reflect on your determination, make sure you can dedicate the time it takes to really succeed, don't take on unsustainable debt.
